Nellie Griffin’s passion for content development began during her senior year of high school, when she served as a staff writer for The Times-Tribune in Corbin, Kentucky. While pursuing her undergraduate degree at Centre College, she continued to grow her experience in communications through an internship with Centre’s Strategic Marketing and Communications Office, as well as a summer internship with Ãâ·ÑÎçÒ¹¸£Àû1000¼¯ºÏ¼¯92 of the Cumberlands’ Communications and Marketing Department.
Nellie earned her Bachelor of Arts in history from Centre in May 2023 and joined the Cumberlands family the following month. She began as a Student Financial Counselor and later served as a Customer Relations Management Coordinator before stepping into her current role as Content Development Specialist.
In May 2025, Nellie completed her Master of Business Administration at Cumberlands. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa through Centre and Sigma Beta Delta through Cumberlands.
Outside of work, Nellie enjoys spending time with her family and golden retriever and serves as a youth teacher at her local church.
